No Kings day of defiance mass protest

NO KINGS Mass Protest Saturday, June 14

This week, we rose up to stand against ICE raids and military escalations. We celebrated the release of David Huerta from detention in L.A.. And in cities all over the U.S., we continue to protest and demand an end to the ongoing raids and military interventions in our communities.

It’s time to keep up the pressure. This Saturday, June 14, we are coming together for No Kings Day, a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.

Already, thousands of No Kings events are scheduled across the country. Find one near you, or host your own. There are even virtual events for those who can’t attend in person.

On June 14, 1775, the Continental Congress created the U.S. Army to stand up against a monarch who claimed absolute power. 250 years later, President Trump wants to twist that legacy into a personal celebration of himself with a military parade widely estimated to cost $45 million.

Trump has clearly forgotten who this country really belongs to. This Saturday, we’re sending a big reminder: America doesn’t do kings. America belongs to the people. And that means all of us.

This Saturday, we the people are taking to the streets to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings and stand together against authoritarianism. Join us–find an event near you here.

In solidarity,

The Labor Force
