May 20: Solidarity Session with “Ma” Mary Hill and Sultana Hossain

Solidarity session

May 19, 2026

When Jeff Bezos tried to become culturally relevant by making himself and his wife “honorary co-chairs” of the Met Gala, the backlash was hard and swift. Because the real buzz was about how billionaires like Bezos exploit workers to build wealth, and the real stars were Amazon workers walking their own runway at the Ball Without Billionaires.

Tomorrow night, we’re inviting you to meet some of those stars: two powerhouse organizers and Amazon workers who are leading the charge against Amazon’s corporate greed, “Ma” Mary Hill of CAUSE and Sultana Hossain from Amazon Labor Union-IBT 1. Join us for this virtual Solidarity Session!

Fired from Amazon after organizing, Sultana Hossain now serves as ALU’s Recording Secretary and Director of Coalitions. Mary Hill is a co-founder of Carolina Amazonians United for Solidarity and Empowerment, also known as CAUSE. (And if you’ve spent any time on the internet lately, you might recognize Mary from a very pointed message projected onto Jeff Bezos’ penthouse walls.

Mary and Sultana will share their own stories, reveal what it’s really like to be a worker organizing at Amazon, and talk about how all of us can join the fight against one of the greediest corporations in history.

Tomorrow, May 20 at 8 pm: Join us from anywhere for this virtual Solidarity Session to stand with Amazon workers and get involved in the fight! See you there!

In Solidarity,
The Labor Force
