Help Amazon Workers Unite Nationwide

Mar 29, 2026

Please read on for an important message from Connor Spence, President of Amazon Labor Union-IBT 1.

My name is Connor Spence, and I am the president of Amazon Labor Union-IBT 1. Nearly four years ago to the day, we won our union election at JFK8 in New York, making it the first ever unionized Amazon facility in the United States. Four years later, and our movement is only growing.

Amazon workers are organizing across the country to hold Amazon accountable for its greed and the way it treats its workers. And this summer, 250 Amazon workers from around the world will be convening in Chicago to build the next phase of our organizing in person. Can you help us make this convening a reality by chipping in to cover lodging and travel for Amazon workers?

When we won our union vote in 2022, a national gathering of Amazon workers of this size was beyond our wildest dreams. It’s a testament to the strength, power, and growth of this fight, and the tenacity of the workers who are making it happen.

The truth is, the fight to organize Amazon is fueled by regular, working class folks like you and me. The same folks who pack boxes and deliver them to your door. And to win, we need all of us to pitch in to this fight.

Amazon Labor Union and CAUSE
When Amazon workers unite in person across campaigns, it’s powerful. Earlier this month, several members of CAUSE, the worker-led union organizing Amazon in the South, came to New York to spend time with ALU members, visit our union hall, deepen relationships, and of course, organize.

Again and again, I hear the same messages from workers after meetings like this: “I don’t feel alone anymore.” “It’s isolating sometimes to just be organizing at your own warehouse.” “I feel revitalized.” “This gave me the energy to keep going in the fight.”

Amazon wants us to feel alone, to feel like the fight is so big that it must be futile, but we can’t afford to give in to that. The stakes are too high. Coming together and building power across our campaigns, sharing our wins and our challenges, is the antidote to isolation and the way we win.

Organizing Amazon is the greatest challenge facing our labor movement today, and how we meet that challenge will be felt not just by Amazon workers, but by every worker. Amazon’s greed, surveillance, and speed-hungry algorithms are models that corporations across industries are seeking to emulate for profit.

Help us take on Amazon and be part of building this movement even bigger. Your donations will help Amazon workers build the power we need to win, together. Thank you.

In Solidarity,
Connor Spence
