Amazon Loses at Labor Board, 𝑨𝑮𝑨𝑰𝑵!

Amazon Labor Union wins at NLRB

Apr 7, 2026

Big news! On the fourth anniversary of Amazon Labor Union-IBT 1 becoming the first union to win an election at an Amazon facility, the National Labor Relations Board ruled conclusively that the megacorporation must come to the bargaining table.

Amazon thought that they could use their unlimited spending power to delay bargaining until the union gave up. Because of this community, we proved them wrong.

Amazon workers have the momentum―and they’re planning to use it this summer to spread the union movement nationwide. Can you help Amazon union members travel to this summer’s union summit and show how to win everywhere?

Here’s what happened: Since Amazon Labor Union won their election in 2022, Amazon contested the union’s certification and refused to bargain with the union, arguing that ALU was not a valid bargaining representative. The union filed unfair labor practice charges in response.

The Board’s decision was clear: Amazon needs to get its ass to the bargaining table!

Let’s be real: this Board decision is a decisive win for Amazon Labor Union, but this is just the beginning. Amazon will use every tactic available to them to slow down the bargaining process. Workers still need to organize, take action, and fight for the fair contract they deserve. But this is farther than any Amazon workers have ever gotten toward forcing Amazon to recognize the union.

Winning at Amazon may be the greatest challenge facing our labor movement today. Amazon’s greed, surveillance, and speed-hungry algorithms are models that corporations across industries are seeking to emulate for profit. It’s essential that we, the working class, throw down together to beat this Goliath.

As Amazon Labor Union prepares to take on Amazon at the bargaining table, and build union pressure at warehouses around the country, can you chip in to the fight? Donations will help ALU organize on the shop floor, hold Amazon accountable, and ultimately win the contract workers deserve.

In Solidarity,
The Labor Force
