It’s official! Amazon Labor Union IBT Local 1, along with Amazon workers across the country, is on ULP strike.
Amazon workers are done waiting for a first contract. Last week, Amazon Labor Union gave Amazon a clear deadline: “Bargain with us by December 15 or we go on strike.” Amazon refused to budge, and now it’s time for them to face the consequences–the strike is on!
Workers are now on the picket lines instead of the picking stations, fighting for the wages, benefits, and safety conditions they deserve.
This strike is a historic moment for labor, and for all of us as workers. Here are the top ways you can support the Amazon Labor Union strike, from home or on the picket line.

Sign up for Picket Shifts
Right now, Amazon Labor Union needs as many people standing with them on the picket line as possible. So they are asking supporters to sign up in advance for picketing shifts in order to get strike ready.
What ALU wants you to know: When you’re signing up for slots, these are commitments. If the strike is still on, you will be going to the line on that day. HOWEVER, the union will only show out on the line if the strike is happening — so if you sign up, please watch your texts for confirmation from Amazon Labor Union before you head to the line!

Amazon Labor Union is raising critical funds for strike resources and more.
The union is raising funds to support picket solidarity efforts: food, transportation, materials, language interpretation, medical support, cold weather supplies, worker retaliation defense funds, and legal support.

Sign the Petition: Tell Amazon to Come to the Table
While the December 15 deadline has passed, it’s never too late to add your name to the tens of thousands of folks demanding the Amazon come to the table and negotiate a fair contract with its workers.
