Tell Congress: Stop Funding ICE and DHS

tell Congress to stop funding ICE and DHS

Jan 21, 2026

Working people across Minnesota are living in fear because of terror in their communities after ICE agents killed Renee Nicole Good.

Instead of conducting oversight into this rogue agency’s invasion of an American city, Congress is considering a bill to fund ICE even more.

Working Americans deserve better. Can you send your members of Congress a message demanding Congress immediately stop funding DHS’ and ICE’s inhumane and lethal tactics?

The Labor Force is here to build the future of the union movement. But looking back at union history, state-sponsored violence has been as big a deterrent to union militancy as corporate union-busting. (Seriously―google “Battle of Blair Mountain”!)

ICE establishing itself as an unaccountable domestic paramilitary force serving at the pleasure of Wall Street’s favorite President puts our entire movement at risk, and has a chilling effect on all of us speaking out.

And of course, our movement is and has always been about far more than narrow workplace issues. Labor rights and civil rights have been intertwined throughout history. And when we say “an injury to one is an injury to all,” we mean all, not just the people we share an office or a union contract with.

We need to take a stand with our friends in Minnesota. It’s solidarity, and it’s powerful.

Tell Congress: Stop funding DHS and ICE’s legal attacks on American cities!

In solidarity,
The Labor Force

P.S. Our friends at the Minneapolis Regional Labor Federation, AFL-CIO and Working Partnerships have launched a rapid response effort to meet the needs of impacted union members, worker center members, and their families with legal support and navigation. If you’re able, chip in to that fund here!
